The St.Louis Catholic Church Knights of Columbus and Columbiette Auxiliary are hosting a Swing-n-Pray Golf Tournament on Sat. May 18th at Keys Gate Golf and Country Club, 2300 SE Palm Drive; Homestead. This will be a scramble format tournament with a 12 noon shotgun start. Price is $125 per golfer; singles welcome. Fee includes green fees, cart,polo shirt,bag lunch, awards,gift bag and banquet with one hour open bar. Hole in one vehicle is a new Ford F150 donated by Palmetto Ford Truck Sales; valued at more than $34,000. There will be fun holes, mulligans, raffles and a silent auction. Movies on the Plaza is a free, family friendly event sponsored by Brickell World Plaza each month. Parking is free in the surface lot. Chair rentals are available. Bring dinner. Bring snacks. Not many artists have the nerve to evict Jesus and his apostles from one of history’s most famous paintings, but José Manuel Ballester is the rare talent willing to match wits with Leonardo da Vinci and give a fresh interpretation of the Renaissance master’s iconic work. Ballester has removed all the figures from da Vinci’s The Last Supper in his new photo-based series, in which he reconceptualizes masterpieces from art history by amputating all living beings and erasing any sign of action from the iconic opuses
