Children and their families are invited to plunge into a world of undersea wonders with Oceanophony, merging beautiful music and science! In this piece by award-winning composer Bruce Adolphe, performed by eight musicians from Orchestra Miami, conducted by Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi and with visual images by Michael Greenberg, children will learn about undersea life, coral reefs, biodiversity and more through music and poems. Attendees will discover answers to questions such as: What happens when you poke a pufferfish? Do seahorses mate for life? What exactly is a cleaning station? Is marine snow cold?

We will have great fun learning some basic hand stitches while we create a different Stuffed Felt Monster in every class. Customize your creation to make it one-of-a-kind. This is a great class for the beginning sewer and is for ages 11-17. This is the first class in a series of 3. Can't make it to all three classes? No worries! Classes are priced individually so you may take one class or all three.
