The Palmetto Bay Community Chanukah celebration will be on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Old Cutler Center on the corner of SW 168th Street and Old Cutler Road.
Beginning at 5:30 PM it will feature crafts and other activities for children, dreidel games, music and raffles. Traditional Chanukah delicacies of latkes (potato pancakes), donuts and Chanukah gelt (chocolate coins) will be served.
At 6:00 PM dignitaries from the community will join with Rabbi Zalman Gansburg for the Grand Lighting of an Ice Sculptured Menorah, marking the second night of the Holiday.
