South Florida’s only licensed specialty hospital that caters exclusively to children has announced the creation of Miami Children’s Hospital 5K (MCH5K), which will take place in downtown Coral Gables on Saturday, Sept. 24. The goals of the event are to:
• Showcase the world-class care Miami Children’s Hospital provides to children throughout South Florida and beyond;
• Raise awareness of Miami Children’s programming and the many healthcare issues affecting children, and
• Secure funding to help Miami Children’s continue to grow to meet the needs of the community.
