Coral Gables city officials and chamber representatives, Florida East Coast Realty (FECR) executives and project team members, as well as new residents and local real estate brokers recently gathered at Villa Majorca to celebrate the official opening of the luxury, rental community debuting in “The City Beautiful.”

Developed by FECR, Villa Majorca received its TCO in early November, making way for residents to move into their spacious, elegant homes.

To mark the occasion, an official ribboncutting ceremony took place on the fourthfloor entertainment terrace. Mayor Donald Slesnick presented Tibor Hollo, FECR president and founder, with an official Coral Gables City Seal.

“In these times, it’s very heartening to have construction completed in the city, and Villa Majorca is such a beautiful project,” Mayor Slesnick said. “We’re glad to be here to be part of this occasion.”

Also in recognition of the opening, Chamber of Commerce chair-elect Drew Kern presented a proclamation to Hollo.

“We truly appreciate the special recognition by the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and are pleased to be able to deliver another quality development in this prestigious city,” Hollo said.

Villa Majorca has just 36 residences, providing residents the comfort and carefree convenience of renting a spacious, elegant home in a community with a boutique feel, rather than dealing with the demands of home ownership.

These large, two-bedroom and three-bedroom- plus-den apartment and townhome residences range in size up to 2,000 square feet, with rentals now from $2,295 to $3,500 per month. Each unit comes with two complimentary, reserved parking spaces, as the community offers a private parking garage with gated security access.

Residents can enjoy Villa Majorca’s clubroom, rooftop garden with Jacuzzi spa, sun deck with outdoor grills, and personal gym right at home. In addition to an on-site manager/ concierge and activities director available to attend to all resident needs, a complimentary Biltmore Club membership will be included with the one-year lease of any of the elegant residences. Further, Villa Majorca has its own private limousine service offering residents complimentary transportation to the Biltmore, the airport, and many other locations.

Residence features include two private balconies or a garden courtyard; high-end Whirlpool appliances; Energy-Star stainless steel, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher; porcelain flooring from Spain; premium Wenge European-style kitchen cabinets; granite kitchen counters; master baths in every residence with frameless glassenclosed showers, European-style Wenge custom cabinets, and cultured marble vanity counters with double sinks.

Residents also will appreciate the emergency voice communication system in each unit for any medical needs or urgent situations.
